You may exchange or return your purchase if you feel your purchase does not meet:

  • The quality standards
  • The product description
  • The correct order details (i.e. incorrect size delivered)
  • Its intended purpose (i.e. cannot be used for its core function)

This is only for items bought in store. Items bought online are to be returned to the head office.

If you are not happy with your purchase, simply return the item to any Dimmeys store with your Receipt (or other proof of purchase) and we will provide you with an exchange, credit note or refund within the Australian Consumer Law guidelines outlined below to the value of the item returned (excluding postage).

For in store refunds and exchanges, make sure that you:

  • Provide a receipt as proof of purchase
  • Bring the card used for payment online and ensure the card holder is present


Only for returning items bought online.

Please contact us by email describing the problem, and remember to quote your order number. We will contact you to arrange the return within the guidelines of the Australian Consumer Law.  The cost of the return shipping label is to be arranged by the customer. If the item is confirmed as Faulty, customers will be reimbursed for both the item and postage in the form of a Refund using the original payment method. Item is to be returned within 30 days of placing the order. Item(s) must have original packaging and labels and hangtags and all original accessories attached and must not have signs of visible wear or smell.


We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you Change your Mind.
