Induction & Training


Your induction will commence on-site on your first day in your new role. Your Manager will provide you with an Induction Booklet for you to read that contains important information about working at Dimmeys. The Induction Booklet contains information relating to; probation, confidentiality, history of Dimmeys, company philosophy, the responsibilities of a team member, customer service and employee benefits.

 

Your Manager will also take you through an Induction Checklist, which will address subjects such as; OH&S and your employment and training. All new team members are assigned a Mentor, who will provide you with support and guidance.

 

New Victorian Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers are invited to attend an Induction day at the Store Support Centre in order to meet key Head Office personnel and to gain a better understanding of how the business operates.

 

Following your Induction, ongoing on-the-job training will be provided by your line manager.
